The fall 2008 issue of Concord Academy magazine takes readers on an Antarctic adventure, courtesy of scientist Lucy McFadden '70. Besides collecting meteorites in Antarctica, McFadden has worked on several NASA missions, including Deep Impact, which studied the inside of a comet; the Near-Earth Asteroid Rendezvous (NEAR), which examined an asteroid about 160 million miles from Earth; and a current project, DAWN, a NASA mission to asteroids between Jupiter and Mars. Also featured in this issue: news and photos from Reunion, celebrating '03 and '08 classes; Commencement coverage; an interview with photographer Zandy Mangold '92; and the Report of Giving.

Concord Academy magazine is published three times a year for the alumnae/i and friends of Concord Academy.
