What CA Means to Me
Clement Sin
Boarder

What do you like about being a boarding student?
I love being a boarding student. There's always something to do and there are always students, faculty, and staff around. I just came back from a white-water rafting trip in Maine. Other weekends, I can go to the movies or a Celtics game on Friday night and join a trip to IHOP on Saturday night. As a boarding student, I feel that I'm much more bonded with every other boarder since I see them 24-7. I have also become much more independent then before.
What does the notion of “diversity of backgrounds and perspectives” mean to you?
CA has students from pretty much every class, race, religion, political view, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. This gives me a chance to learn more about different people from different parts of the world.
How do you see a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives in your day-to-day experience at CA?
In class discussions—it's amazing to see people from different backgrounds offering different opinions.
