Parents’ Weekend

Parents’ Weekend at CA offers a wonderful opportunity to meet faculty and other parents, and to attend campus events.
Parents, guardians, and families of Concord Academy students are encouraged to attend. The weekend agenda for 2008 included conferences with teachers, advisors, and college counselors; information sessions; theatrical and musical performances; and athletic competitions. There were also plenty of opportunities to socialize and meet other CA families.
Parents' Weekend 2008 took place on Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11.

Parents Visit Campus for Parents' Weekend 2008

On October 10 and 11, over 500 parents visited the Concord Academy campus for Parents' Weekend 2008. Amidst glorious fall weather, parents visited classes, met with advisors and teachers, observed dance and theatre rehearsals, and celebrated a nail-biting overtime win for the CA girl's field hockey team (2-1). Families gathered in the SHAC gym on Friday night for a Harvest Dinner where they were serenaded by three of CA’s singing groups. The evening concluded with presentations by some performing arts classes.
